Nothing  Is  Impossible  for  A   Willing  Heart

n            —Mr Yi’coming back to mother school

October 10^th is a day that all the students of Wuhan University will never forget.Yi Zhongtian, who is now a famous professor in Xiamen Unuversity gave us a lecture in the small playground of Plum Garden.

This grand activity attracted students from far and near in our university and the number of the audience totaled over 10,000.While many journalists were busy with taking photographs,a lot of my schoolmates were hurrying to the entrance of the auditorium,hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol.

Surrounded by applause,flowers and screaming,professor Yi began his lecture which centered on the condition of learning and living in his mother school.Thanks to his teachers’strictness and his strong interest in Chinese classical culture,he learned and studied with great eagerness.The free and enthusiastic atmosphere of our campus gave him a chance to speak his mind and realise his dream.In spite that there were only a small number of students at that time,they were all very active and were at making friends.So,when Mr Yi was in Wuhan University,he always felt at home.It is the culture atmosphere and outstanding schoolmates that makes professor Yi loves his mother school deeply and sincerely.

During the lecture,many papers written by our were handed onto the stage.We were in want of asking him some questions eagerly.Considering our thoughts,Mr Yi turned to answering directly after his speech.He told us many things like the reason why he left Wuhan for Xiamen,how he understood the spreading of culture,and the change of his work and study.Meanwhile,he talked about some of his original ideas,explaining a group of misunderstandings from citizens and the media.

In addition,he supplied we students with some precious suggestions.There is no doubt that every student is supposed to be absorbed in learning and master at least one course to build up ourselves to become useful men for the society.

Being a famous learner and professor,he still concentrates on studying.Devoting himself to the career he loves is his dream.As a child of Wuhan University,we admires him--Yi Zhongtian.
