武汉大学英语街俱乐部

English　Street　Club(简称ＥＳＣ)是于二○○五年九月成立的武汉大学校级社团（Association）。其前身是具有十年历史的校十佳社团武汉大学英文协会。在十月初的会员招新短短四天时间中，我们正是凭着这深厚的家底与强大的生机，招收了四百五十余名收费会员(Charge  members)，一跃成为武汉大学第一大社团。

English Street Club (is called E S C) is the Wuhan University organization (Association) which founded on September, 2005. Its predecessor is has ten years historical the school top-notch mass organization Wuhan University English association. Incurs in the new short four day time in at the beginning of October member, we are precisely by reason of this deep family property and the formidable vitality, has recruited 450 charges members, as soon as leaps into the Wuhan University first big mass organization.

ESC的宣传能力相比其他社团优势十分明显。俱乐部拥有的三大媒体：现代化媒体－大学英语网，传统的平面媒体－《英语街》报纸，传统的立体媒体－Radio  WuDa无线电台以及海报、展版等校园媒体社团内部安找工作职能的不同，分列为六大部门（Departments），包括：人力资源部、会员部、新闻中心、广播部、网络部、公关推广部。

The club has three big media: Modernized media - university English network, traditional plane media - "English Street" newspaper, traditional three-dimensional media - Radio The WuDa blower as well as the playbill, unfold campus media and so on the version Mass organization interior An Zhao works the function difference, passes in review is six big departments (Departments),including: Human resources department, member department, news center, broadcast department, network department, public relations promotion department.

社团拥有发行量万份的《英语街》报纸、大学英语网和正在试播中的Radio-Wuda无线电台。就全国的学生社团的情况来说，ESC所拥有的媒体力量与实力是十分强大的。与校内其他类似社团相比，俱乐部的工作得到了武汉大学外语学院大学英语部的老师和领导们各方面的大力支持，使得我们向致力于繁荣英语学习氛围，活跃英语第二课堂文化的目标快速地靠拢。上学期成功的和外语学院学生会合作承办的武汉大学第四届外语月大型系列活动使我们对前景充满了渴望，相信在新学年里，俱乐部将更加强大。俱乐部日常开展的活动有：英文原声电影赏析，英语角（English  corner），名师讲座，英语游园会，会员风采大赛等与高校学生英语学习息息相关的项目。

The club daily development activity includes: English original sound movie appreciates, English angle (English Corner), the famous teacher course, English garden party, the member elegant demean our big game and so on the project which is closely linked with the universities student English study.
